How to Download Classic Version
Select Days Gone in your Steam Library -> Click on the Gear icon on the right of the screen -> Select Properties -> Betas -> Select Classic from the drop down.
Note: This will replace your currently installed version and download the Classic Patch 1.07 branch. If you wish to return to the current updated version return to the Beta Participation dropdown and select None which will begin download of the latest version.
Additional Information
- For players interested in swapping branches, we recommend saving your game at a camp and making a local backup of the save files to a different folder. If you have been using Sarah's Gift fuel tank from Horde Assault, you will need to swap this fuel tank out for a different one at a mechanic before being able to ride the bike.
- There will be no official support for players swapping between the branches.
Thank you for your continued support, feedback, and love for Days Gone!

There is a bug playing the remaster on a regular PS5. Rainy weather just stops when opening the map. Having issues like this after over 5 months of release is embarrassing. Please fix this issue. I only noticed this in the cascade area. Don’t know abt the others.
I had to revert to the previous version because of the controller will not work. Was using Steam os with legion go s. The rearrange controller order option is completely missing. I really hope you guys can fix that.
Please, please, please, bring back as many of the og employees as possible. Especially the director or whatever the main writers title was. Make the sequel with or without sony. It will be worth the money. No way it couldn't be. At the very least, do it and follow the direction that was planned. The ideas for the world set up for the trilogy sounded amazing. Fuck sony. You don't need them. Indi companies do it all the time.
