Since the release of the general update to Days Gone on Thursday, April 24, we have been monitoring feedback and working quickly to address all commonly reported issues:
- Game crashes on boot.
Dev note: If you are experiencing crashes, please delete all files within this folder - DaysGone\BendGame\Content\sfpaks, then use Steam's Verify Local Files to redownload. - Infinite loading black screen on boot.
Dev note: DSR is not supported by Days Gone. We recommend disabling this for the time being. - Intro movies stuttering.
- DualSense haptic feedback appears to not work.
Dev note: The DualSense controller must have a wired connection to feel the haptic feedback. Steam input must also be disabled. Additionally, make sure your controller speaker sound is enabled in your PC settings. - General audio issues.
Thank you for your patience. We will provide you with an update soon on the next patch release.
If you are experiencing any issues, please Submit a Request.

Don't forget the in-game cut-scene stuttering that can be fixed by turning V-sync on.
I installed a mod to disable the start-up splash screens, I really wish these could be disabled in an in-game option (for every game) or at least skippable with a button press as they aren't masking any loading.
the new lighting or whatever is causing this issue needs to be fixed also, it is bad it looks like coal in certain places on the ground at night like inside of tunnels etc.
snow looks worse now, when driving at night anything metal or reflective the headlight hits is terrible looking.
and why does the headlight on the bike remove the blue tint when on but when off i see nothing but blue tint?
i play in 4K HDR and the HDR even in the daytime it does not look as good as patch1.07.
i have the remaster on steam-epic games and they both seem to look identical but i am forced to play on the unpatched GOG version because of all the issues on patch1.08.
So I couldn’t run the game at all. I updated my GPU drivers and everything works fine now.
